Tender cactus leaves are a Mexican delicacy that are extremely popular for adding texture and taste to a wide range of dishes. A very popular recipe is cactus salad, known in Mexico as ensalada de nopales. It combines tender nopales with onion, avocado, pickled jalapeno peppers and feta cheese for a crunchy, spicy and delicious lunch or side dish!

INGREDIENTS: Tender cactus, water, iodized salt, (This salt supplies iodide, a necessary nuttrient). Citric acid and 0.1 % sodium benzoate as preservative.
